35. Eddie Guerrero – Age 38
Although he possessed unbelievable charisma and wrestling ability, Eddie Guerrero faced self-destruction due to substance abuse problems, including his time in WCW and his early run in the WWF. Guerrero fought off his personal demons, eventually becoming a beloved figure in the WWE and a main event star. Sadly, Guerrero’s second chance ended abruptly when he died from heart failure in 2005 caused by atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease. On November 13, 2005, Eddie’s body was discovered by his nephew Chavo. Although Eddie was only 38 years old, it’s believed his drug abuse contributed to his heart failure and Guerrero is believed to have been taking steroids or human growth hormone, which may have contributed as well.
